<p><strong>Temperature test</strong> consists of <strong>studying the temperature inside the cabinet</strong>. </p>



<p>The cabinet is installed in the test room at specific conditions in terms of temperature and humidity. The loading of the cabinet in real use is simulated by means of standardised test packages, some of which have a built-in temperature probe. </p>



<p>By studying the temperature evolution of the latter packages, it is possible to establish the temperature class of the cabinet which will define what kind of food can be frozen/refrigerated. </p>



<p><em>Our test room allows the testing of all types of cabinets up to 3.75 metres long and for all climatic classes established in the standard EN ISO 23953-2.</em></p>

<p>This test is conducted simultaneously with the temperature test. </p>



<p><strong>It consists of determining the electricity consumption of the cabinet </strong>that allows it to operate within the required temperature class. If the cabinet has a built-in condenser, the electrical energy consumption is measured by means of direct measurement, whereas if the cabinet has a remote condenser the electrical energy for refrigerating must also be taken into account. </p>



<p><em>Our installation allows the testing of cabinets with built-in condenser and remote condenser.</em><br></p>



<p>Energy consumption is one of the input data to calculate the Energy Efficiency Index in accordance with <strong>Regulation (EU) 2019/2018 on Energy Labelling</strong> and <strong>Regulation (EU) 2019/2024 on Ecodesign</strong>.</p>
