<p>The test methodology is defined in the Standard UNE-EN ISO 868. This standard determines the elastic hardness of materials according to the Shore scale, and defines the elastic response when an object is dropped on the material. During this non-destructive test, the height the projectile rebounds to is measured, which will depend on the energy that is absorbed by the test material during impact.<br></p>
