Directive 2012/27/EU makes to the big companies, more than 250 employees and/or with a turnover equal to or greater than € 50 million and/or balance sheet equal to or greater than € 43 million, to make energy audits  every 4 years, in opposite case they can be an object of sanction for amounts of between 30.000 and 60.000 €.

Energy audits should be carried out on 85% of total final energy consumption of all his facilities in property and that are located in the same autonomous region and only valid if made from 2012 and if they fulfill certain requirements
